Donna Stackhouse is a retired art educator who makes books and cards with handmade paper created from acid-free recycled and other natural materials. She lives in Moretown VT and has a studio in Waterbury VT.

She uses acid free matbord scraps she collects from frame shops along with other traditional paper pulp barks in her paper base. She collects and presses flowers and foliage to create designs on cards and book covers and also creates prints using linocut and dry point etching techniques. Each piece of paper is unique so each card and book is unique. The flowers and foliage are collected locally.
